El Transistor Verdejo, Rueda, Telmo Rodríguez 2016
A fantastic full flavoured white with the citrus aroma of Verdejo underscored by gentle oak spices. Floral, spicy and complex. The name comes from the radio they hang in the vineyard to frighten the Wild Boar away!

A wine full of verve and energy from one of Spain's most energetic, innovative and charismatic winemakers. It's essentially Verdejo (with just a smidgen of the more neutral Viura) and is packed with honeyed apple and pear, citrus and herb flavours. Lovely on its own, but a good match for grilled prawns, all sorts of other fish and seafood and vegetable dishes.
