FELTON ROAD

James Suckling has called Felton Road, “the DRC of New Zealand,” and he is not alone in singing their praises. Felton Road is one of the World’s greatest domains. Year after year ex-pat owner Nigel Greening, winemaker Blair Walter and viticulturist Gareth King produce some of the greatest Pinot Noirs on the planet.

NICOLAS JAY

This is a shiny new partnership between an old friend of Tanners, Nicolas Méo of Méo-Camuzet in Vosne-Romanée, and Jay Boberg who managed REM…rock’n’roll! We were going to fill this paragraph with REM song titles but ‘Losing My Religion’, ‘Everybody Hurts’ and ‘It’s The End of the World as we Know It’ didn’t really seem to fit the joyful experience that is the filling of your glass with these exceptional Oregon Pinot Noirs. Here are the first two vintages, but we have a meagre 18 bottles of each!
