This is a truly artisan producer. The distillery is based next to the Macclesfield Forest where Lindsay and Karl Bond source many ingredients.
Daughter Harriet leads the foraging missions to source bilberries, raspberries, blackberries, mosses, ferns, wild flowers, pine, and bark, all of which are blended with more traditional ingredients such as organic juniper and coriander, vanilla, liquorice and angelica. Their water is sourced from an ancient spring in the Peak District some 1200ft above sea-level. The bottle is Staffordshire Porcelain and the label was created by Suzy Taylor, a papercut artist, using paper scissors and a scalpel.
