Joseph Perrier, based in Châlons-en-Champagne (formerly Chalons-sur-Marne), was founded in 1825 by the Perrier family.
It is still based at the same address today and is still family owned and independent, with Jean-Claude Fourmon at the head. The house sources a third of its grapes from its own vineyards and the rest from contracted, long standing suppliers throughout the region. The cellars are traditional, buried deep in the chalk, but the production facilities are all modern. The champagne style is classic and elegant.
