Lagavulin 16 Year Old, Islay Single Malt Whisky, 43% vol
Lagavulin means 'Mill of the valley', and is one of the heaviest of all malts. A pungent nose of smoke, peat, burnt heather and salt, full and very robust. Peaty and oily with salt and a long phenolic finish that rumbles on and on.

Ferociously peaty, with warm sweetness and underlying mellowness from sherry-cask finishing. As divisive and unforgettable as Joyce’s Ulysses itself.
