Laphroaig 10 Year Old, Islay Single Malt Whisky, 40% vol
A big peaty nose with whiffs of seaweed, heavy with heather and medicinal notes. The palate is oily and round, hugely peaty with seaweed and salt, finishing long and dry. Using very mossy peat, Laphroaig is a most distinctive malt.

Burns night is the time of year for the wine connoisseurs north of the border to turn their attention to Scotland’s amber-coloured creations. From the Inner Hebrides island of Islay, Laphroaig has a famously peaty taste, with a slight iodine character and a salty finish.
Laphroaig is pronounced La-Froyg and this is a distinctive Islay whisky with flavours of smoke, peat, bonfires and seaweed as well as some spicy, fruity notes. It finishes salty and sweet.
