Laroze de Drouhin

Laroze de Drouhin

Whilst some of his competitors have diversified into vineyards in the New World or in the South of France, star white wine producer Dominique Lafon’s expansion plans have only taken him as far as the Mâconnais, an hour or so down the autoroute from his base in Meursault.

This is the négociant arm of top Gevrey producer Drouhin Laroze run by Caroline Drouhin. She sources grapes from the Côte de Nuits and aims to add one new wine per year with the aim of building the business up to the same size as the estate part. The wines are made in the family's cellars at Gevrey.
