Loron is a family-owned Beaujolais negociant but this proves there's even more to the business. Brisk with racy apple and lemon freshness then weighty without being heavy on the palate with notes of cream, honey and a mellow, gentle waxiness. Great value.
Wines come into and out of fashion, but year after year (and I have been here for forty!) it is White Burgundy and Bordeaux Red that our customers return to time after time. Of course at the top-end both areas produce wines with eye-watering prices, but both areas also produce wines that are wonderful value-for-money; and here we have two superb examples. And don’t believe me the White Burgundy has just received a PLATINUM AWARD in the Decanter 2017 Wine Awards
