'First ‘Hussar!’ I’m delighted to have found a wine merchant that actually supplies half bottles. I cannot be the only person who doesn’t (and doesn’t wish to) quaff wine by the bucketful.
Second ‘Hussar!’ You actually carry a reasonably wide range from which we can choose, including a fair few at the more affordable end of the scale. I have tried the Tons de Duorum, of which I’d never heard but which was a revelation. It’ll be the Claret for lunch today.
Third ‘Hussar!’ You don’t, thankfully, use ‘Yodel’ (whose appallingness mere words cannot adequately describe), so my order was delivered early on Saturday morning, as requested, by an affable chap who brought the cases in for me in deference to my iffy back. All in all this has been a very pleasant surprise. Without wishing to sound too fawning, you can confidently anticipate further orders from me in the future.'
