P + S Prats & Symington
A fusion of two famous wine making families in 1999 saw the creation of P + S, the Symington family of the Douro and the Prats family of Cos d’Estournel in Bordeaux. Bruno Prats has brought Bordeaux wine making techniques to grapes destined for Port production.
The first wine, Chryseia, was launched in 2000. Grapes are now sourced from Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz with additional plots from other top Symington properties. Post Scriptum was introduced as basically a second wine to Chryseia. Wine making for all the P & S wines emphasises elegance and finesse.
