Producer: Château de Tracy

Château de Tracy is an ancient property with wine production being traced back over 600 years. Originally from Scotland, the Stutt family arrived in France during the Hundred Years war to help the future King Charles VII of France.

In 1586 François Stutt married the Lady of Tracy. It wasn’t until the end of the 19th Century that the vineyards became organised and the property started to sell the Château de Tracy wines. In the 1950s the vineyards were restored by Jacqueline de Tracy and her husband Comte Alain d’Assay, their son Henry is in charge today. The 56 acres of vineyards are run on environmentally friendly grounds. The vineyards take in the various soil types of Pouilly being vinified separately and blended before bottling.
