Producer: Domaine Boudau
This estate is run by brother and sister Véronique and Pierre Boudau. They inherited a 60 hectare estate dedicated to producing solely fortified Vins Doux Naturels and so have had to totally change the focus over the last 20 years to tie in with modern tastes.

The emphasis now is on the dry reds, from individual terroirs bottled at the domaine rather than sold in bulk. The sweeter wines are still made and are wonderful things but are only a small part of the production. The vineyard is split into two main parcels north and south of Roussillon, mainly dominated by old Grenache with parcels of Syrah and Muscat and the winery has been totally overhauled.
