Salwey Pinot Noir, Kaiserstuhl, Baden 2015
This Pinot Noir has some new wood on the nose and palate but with ripe strawberry and plum fruit to back it up. It has plenty of depth and weight with ripe tannins. Baden is the best area in Germany for fine Pinot.

The Salwey estate in Oberrotweil is just a three hour drive northeast of Beaune. This pinot noir is light-bodied, with uplifting aromas of strawberry, cinnamon and plum. Silky and smooth, with high acidity – an excellent match for white meats.
