Macleods produce Peaty Creag for us to a carefully specified blend including malts from several Islay and island distilleries with which they have good relationships. Based at Broxburn near Edinburgh, Macleods is family-owned and run by Leonard Russell. They also own Glengoyne distillery and are responsible for the brand Smokehead a vatted Islay malt with a huge character!
