Tanqueray

Tanqueray

The founder of this firm was Charles Tanqueray who set up his distillery in Finsbury in 1830. It was taken over by Gordons in 1898 and a push was made to increase sales in the States. One of the original stills 'Old Tom' is still in use at Laindon today.
