Les Vignerons D'Aghione is a co-operative based at the village of Samuleto near the eastern coast of the island of Corsica. It was founded in 1974 and consists of about 15 growers with vineyards covering 850 hectares surrounding the winery.
The temperature is moderated by the sea on one side and mountain ranges on the other enabling fresh wines with good balance to be produced from a variety of soil types, mainly stoney limestone and clay. The winemaking facilities are modern and great care is taken to produce wines adapted to the end market. Grape varieties are a mixture of the local such as Nielluccio and Vermentino and the well known such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
