Manzanilla & Fino

From the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, light, dry and even a little salty, Manzanilla can be treated just like a white wine and drunk with or without food, but is at its most appetising with a plate of fresh shellfish. There’s often an almondy note to Fino, particularly on the palate, but it still has that fresh style even if a bit weightier than Manzanilla. Long on flavour, it is very good with salted almonds and olives.
