Provence

East of the River Rhône, Provence is a large area and generally now best known for its rosé wines, consumed in large quantities by holiday makers and the super-rich from the yachts moored in the picturesque harbours along the coast! This has led to some of the best known examples being able to sell for a lot of money and generally prices are high here. However, with a little effort, decent value can be found as at Château du Galoupet which has a classic Provençal style.
