Tanners Claret, Bordeaux
This has been made even more attractive by the addition of some extra old-vine Merlot to give it a bit more of the succulence and juiciness for which it is renowned, while still retaining its classic balance and style.

Modest ‘house’ clarets go well with eggs. This one is perfect for a fry-up brunch.
…terrific value for money.
‘Claret’, is a catch-all term for red Bordeaux, but its literal translation means ‘clear’ because lighter styles of red Bordeaux were historically almost rosé in colour. This lovely claret from Tanners is definitely a red wine but it is tender and juicy, too, unlike many of the blockbuster styles we see today. Drink it with the hearty Beef curry!
