CRURED&WHITECELLAR

Red & White 1er Cru Cellar (Case of 24) - En Primeur

£675.00

Some of the grander premier crus from the most famous villages can be a stretch but here is a collection of Tanners’ favourites which won’t make you afraid of reaching for the corkscrew in a couple of years’ time. Samuel Billaud who joins our offer for the first time, brings a lesser-seen premier cru Fourneaux which will delight those looking for Chablis throwback. The Prudhon’s Saint-Aubins are always smart options and the Sentier du Clou is especially fine-tuned this year with great potential. Both whites show the more serious side of Burgundy 2022. The Clos du Val from Michel and Estelle Prunier leans in to the charming nature of the vintage but as is so often proved, it can keep for 30 years! Finally, the Clos de la Boutière from Bachelet-Monnot might be a best-ever release: good bones and energy, and lovely layers of fruit. These are all wines which will benefit some time in the cellar before approaching but the nature of the vintage will make them appealing on release!

Case includes:
6x Saint-Aubin Blanc 1er cru Sur le Sentier du Clou, Henri Prudhon
6x Chablis 1er cru Fourneaux, Samuel Billaud
6x Auxey-Duresses 1er cru Clos du Val, Michel Prunier et Fille
6x Maranges 1er cru Les Clos Roussots, Bachelet-Monnot 2022

About En Primeur

Lying Abroad/En Primeur/In Bond Wines

Wines offered ‘Lying Abroad’ or ‘En Primeur’ provide a good way to secure some of the most sought after wines at opening prices. In addition we ensure it is the cheapest way to buy favourite mid-priced wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône, so please ask us for our offers or check our website for latest reports. Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address. Your Lying Abroad purchases are covered under The Bunch Code of Practice which can be sent on request or viewed here.
