2022 is a fine vintage across the board but the grand cru reds show the greatest potential. Tollot-Beaut’s wonderfully expressive Corton-Bressandes represents the Côte de Beaune and all of that aromatic red fruit; Sebastian Odoul-Cocquard has produced the most inviting and seductive yet seriously structured Charmes-Chambertin; Drouhin-Laroze was a breathtaking visit and we have two incredible wines: ‘Bon-nez Mah-rez’ as Caroline Drouhin playfully called it, is dark, muscular and cool, very stylish and gives a true ‘terroir’ feel, while their sumptuous Clos de Vougeot has been lauded as the best in range this year!

Wines offered ‘Lying Abroad’ or ‘En Primeur’ provide a good way to secure some of the most sought after wines at opening prices. In addition we ensure it is the cheapest way to buy favourite mid-priced wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône, so please ask us for our offers or check our website for latest reports. Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address.
