Chasselas

Found under a huge number of local synonyms across sub-alpine France, Germany and even into Northern Spain, this white is often a little ordinary away from its homeland of Switzerland. Here, often called Fendant, it can be more powerful, fruity and floral with a clean edge to it, perfect for ‘après-ski’ drinks and good with the local food.
