Château Semonlon

This property is tucked away in the Haut-Médoc at Avensan close to Margaux and Château Citran. The seven hectare estate is family owned by the Dumora family and is planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot which grow on, with vines growing on gravelly soils. Harvesting is by hand and the wine is aged in two year old barrels to maintain the excellent fruit characteristics.
