Château Tour de Luchey

This sixteen hectare property has been in the same family for five generations and is famed locally for its medieval tower.

Situated in the district of Moulin on the banks of the River Dordogne opposite Libourne, Luchey means usher in old French and it was the usher's job to inspect the loads leaving Bordeaux destined for the Royal court. Today it is planted with mostly Merlot with vines averaging 40 years old and the wines are fermented in stainless steel and concrete tanks.
