Friulano

The favourite white grape of Friuli in North-East Italy, Friulano delivers aromatic wines with almond notes on the palate for drinking relatively young. Also known as Sauvignon Vert or Sauvignonasse, Friulano is widely planted in Chile. Under pressure from Hungary, the Italians have backed down from calling it Tocai Friulano.
