Joseph Perrier

Joseph Perrier, based in Châlons-en-Champagne (formerly Chalons-sur-Marne), was founded in 1825 by the Perrier family. It is still based at the same address today and is still family owned and independent, with sixth-generation Benjamin Fourmon at the head.

Cellar Master is the talented Nathalie Leplaige who joined in 2017  continuing the historic house style which is classic and elegant. Joseph Perrier sources its grapes from its own 23 Ha of vineyards and the rest from contracted, long-standing suppliers throughout the region. The Gallo-Roman cellars for ageing the champagnes are dramatic, tunneled deep in the chalk, but the production facilities are all modern. In 2023 the old winery and offices were completely renovated, creating a super tasting room and visitor experience, including guided tours of the wonderful cellars during the summer season.
