Seedlip is the brainchild of Ben Branson. Ben is a ninth generation farmer in Lincolnshire where his mother’s family have been farming for over 300 years.
Taking this knowledge from his mother and his marketing acumen inherited from his father, he armed himself with a copy of The Art of Distillation from 1651 and a small copper pot still and set about answering the question of what to drink when you’re not drinking. The name Seedlip comes from the name of an old basket that was used for holding seeds.
