If you are hosting this Easter, you’ll already have enough on your plate, so let us take one job off the list and help you with the wine choices.
Spring lamb is the traditional Easter roast lunch, and its rich, sweet, tender meat tends to work well with medium to full-bodied red wines. Rioja is a classic match and always a safe bet with the delicate meat cooked medium-rare, but if you love Argentinian Malbec, try a Cahors with lamb cooked medium-well. Finally, while not an obvious choice, Pinot Noir also has real potential. Its high acidity cuts through the richness, and this example sits on the medium-bodied side of Burgundy.
