Rest of Americas

The European explorers and subsequent settlers brought with them the culture of grape growing and wine-making the results are evident for all to see. Whilst the USA, Chile and Argentina are the most prolific producers in the Americas, Uruguay, Brazil and Peru all produce wines and we continue to be on the look-out for good bottles from these countries. Grape growing, and as a result wine production, has spread throughout the American continent but is generally concentrated on the more temperate regions. Brought by European pioneers, the grape varieties planted often reflect their geographic roots. There are some fantastic wines produced in Canada, Mexico and we are eagerly watching developments as the other countries of South America start to make inroads into our market.
