It’s time however to revisit Australian wines in all their varietal glory, so look out for minerally Chardonnays, Shirazes (Syrahs) with a white pepper sappiness and very fine Cabernets, and that’s before getting into the Italian and Iberian varieties that are fleshing out the ranges.
