Yuzushu is a citrussy liqueur made from sake and yuzu fruit. Beautifully fresh, fragrant Ginjo sake is blended with the juice of aromatic Japanese yuzu – a citrus fruit that’s like lemon, mandarin and grapefruit all in one.
Bursting with flavour, this light sake is a superb seasonal sip and something a little different to impress friends and family on a sunny afternoon in the garden. Even if you think sake might not be your drink of choice, this one is sure to be! Blend it into a summery cocktail, drink like limoncello or substitute for triple sec, lemon or lime juice for an extra kick.
At a recent Sake training session, we loved the Akashi-Tai Ginjo Yuzushu so much that we’ve created a brand-new cocktail, the Yuzu Royale, which is super easy to make.
