Lagavulin Distillery

Peter Mackie, the creator of White Horse Scotch used Lagavulin as the core of the brand when he bought the distillery in 1867. The foundations of the distillery go back to 1740 when there were a dozen small, illicit bothies on the shore. Salty, peaty and powerful in style.
