Super nose, very polished and pure, juicy too, all continuing into the palate which is silky, creamy and pure on the finish. Expressive at its core with a lovely floral note, gentle with length and purity. Delicious.

Château Durfort-Vivens

This is one of five second growths in Margaux. The château remained in the ownership of the Durfort de Duras family for seven centuries, before being bought by M.Vivens in 1824. With 37 hectares of fine vineyards, it was purchased by Lucien Lurton in 1961 who passed it to his son Gonzague in 1992. He achieved biodynamic certification for the property in 2016.
