Press Review

"Best Buy – 92 Points. This nimble Pinot displays aromas of fresh cherry, Darjeeling, and roses on the nose, giving way to flavours of energetic pomegranate, rich cocoa, chopped herb, and orange peel on the palate, finishing with vibrant acid through a lively finish. "

"12.5% alcohol. Made by Sonoma Bespoke. Juicy and bright with sweet cherry and plum fruit, as well as some strawberry character. There’s a hint of volatile acidity adding some sweetness to the palate, and lovely depth and richness. A bold expression of Sonoma Pinot noir with good depth and richness. 90/100."

Sonoma Bespoke

With state-of-the-art production facilities (Steelbird Cellars) near Napa, an experienced winemaking team, a commitment to sustainable practices and a portfolio of award-winning wines, Sonoma Bespoke is a serious player in producing value-driven, quality wines in California.

The firm is led by Hertfordshire-born Max Franks and Donny Sebastiani, great-grandson of Italian immigrant Samuele Sebastiani, who first began making wine in Sonoma in the early 1900s. Winemaking is now in the hands of Joe
Uhr.

The grapes for the Ide range of wines are sourced from vineyards across Sonoma, primarily from higher-elevation mountain sites and the cool, fog-shrouded vineyards of the Pacific Coast. Made from handpicked grapes, the  wines highlight purity of fruit and regional character, while delivering an approachable style. The ‘Ide’ name honours William B. Ide, who presided over the rebellious ‘California Republic’, an independent nation that existed for 25 days in the summer of 1846, between Mexican and American governance of the region.
