Saintem, Saint-Emilion grand cru, Denis Durantou 2025 En Primeur (Case of 12)

£126.00

ALC 14.5%

This wine is still to be bottled and as such the advertised ABV may be subject to change on its eventual arrival and inspection into the U.K.

Intense, sweet, plummy aromas give way to a deliciously juicy mid core of red fruit notes. With buoyant acidity, this Saintem is on the right side of fresh. Damson notes and a hint of bitter dark chocolate finish off a very fine wine.

Château Teyssier

Jonathan and Lyn Maltus rescued this château in the 1990s and immediately set about an extensive renovation programme.

Investment in new technology and state-of-the-art equipment has brought the estate to the forefront of wines in Saint-Emilion. They also own other properties in the area which score very highly with critics, but the 26 hectares of Château Teyssier remain at the heart of the operation.

About En Primeur

Lying Abroad/En Primeur/In Bond Wines

Wines offered ‘Lying Abroad’ or ‘En Primeur’ provide a good way to secure some of the most sought after wines at opening prices. In addition we ensure it is the cheapest way to buy favourite mid-priced wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône, so please ask us for our offers or check our website for latest reports. Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address. Your Lying Abroad purchases are covered under The Bunch Code of Practice which can be sent on request or viewed here.
