10am - 4pm, Sundays 9th, 16th & 23rd
10am - 7pm, Monday to Friday except Bank Holidays.
9am - 6pm, Saturday
When approaching from the north or east, exit the M53 at junction 40 onto the A41 (signed for Whitchurch). Turn right at the roundabout signed for Chester A5115. Tanners is half a mile on the left. When approaching from the south or west, exit the A55 at junction 39 (signed for Chester A5115). Turn left at the roundabout onto A5115. Tanners is half a mile on the left. When approaching from the city centre, head west on Tarvin Road, then bear right onto A5115 (signed for Whitchurch). Tanners is a quarter of a mile on the right.

Meet the Team
Mathew Evans, Manager
In a previous life, Mat studied Genetics at Aberystwyth before learning the ropes of the hotel trade at St Tudno Hotel in Llandudno & the Castle Hotel in Conwy. Now, with more than ten years’ experience in the wine trade and a WSET Diploma under his belt, it’s safe to say Mat knows a thing or two about wine!
His stand-out wine drinking experience was dining with Dirk Niepoort in the Douro in 2014, starting proceedings with a 1917 white port.
It’s not just about the wine though… Mat’s a big beer fan too who has even brewed his own beers with Conwy Brewery in the last few years.
When not at work, he’s likely to be attempting to play football, watching mighty Wrexham FC or walking his two gorgeous Jack Russells.
Tiffany Vernon, Assistant Manager
Tiffany came to Tanners straight out of Sixth Form having had a ball working at Wroxeter Roman Vineyard during her holidays. She’s been busy sampling and adding to her shortlist of favourite wines ever since and, so far, the highlight has been André Perret’s Condrieu which was a Christmas present to herself last year!
A keen writer, Tiffany had aspirations of being a journalist when she was younger and is currently honing her skills by writing great tasting notes. She is also super-keen on cocktails and should be your go-to girl if you need any advice on creating the perfect concoction to entertain your guests.
