The understudy to Burgundy’s more famous Chardonnay, this fresh white makes lovely, quite dry wines with a creamy apple style that you may most commonly come across in the Côte Chalonnaise. If your glass is too tart, try adding a dash of Crème de Cassis, thereby making the classic apéritif, ‘Kir’.
