Blaufränkisch

Most commonly found in Austria, or neighbouring Hungary (as Kékfrankos), this is a dark red, fruity variety which works well with oak and lasts well. It is increasing in popularity and is regarded as a top quality grape with fine tannic structure and plenty of character.
