Château Feytit-Clinet, Pomerol 2025 En Primeur (Case of 6)

£240.00

ALC 14.1%

This wine is still to be bottled and as such the advertised ABV may be subject to change on its eventual arrival and inspection into the U.K.

Seductive aromas of ripe, crushed black and purple fruit, violet and graphite lead to a velvety core of more black cherry, damson and truffle. Fine-grained tannins, and a good lick of acidity keep this fresh and moreish. The finish is long, poised and satisfying. Overall, this is silky smooth and generous, possessing everything you look for in a Pomerol.

Château Feytit-Clinet

The Chasseuil family own this property which is situated close to the centre of the Pomerol appellation. Until 1999 Château Feytit-Clinet was leased to J P Moueix but now Jeremy Chasseuil is in total charge and quality is high. The wines are made in the small winery at the back of the modest family property and the feeling is very much one of a farm than a grand château. 6.5 hectares are planted with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc and the resulting wine is fresh and restrained.

About En Primeur

Lying Abroad/En Primeur/In Bond Wines

Wines offered ‘Lying Abroad’ or ‘En Primeur’ provide a good way to secure some of the most sought after wines at opening prices. In addition we ensure it is the cheapest way to buy favourite mid-priced wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône, so please ask us for our offers or check our website for latest reports. Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address. Your Lying Abroad purchases are covered under The Bunch Code of Practice which can be sent on request or viewed here.
