Château La Fleur-Pétrus, Pomerol 2025 En Primeur (Case of 6)

£726.00

ALC 14.5%

This wine is still to be bottled and as such the advertised ABV may be subject to change on its eventual arrival and inspection into the U.K.

Subtle notes of plum, black cherry and violets lead onto a saturated mid-palate of red plum, damson, mulberry and hint of mocha. Nicely integrated tannins combine with fresh acidity to make this a supple La Fleur-Pétrus, nothing forced, very harmonious.

Château La Fleur-Pétrus

This is an eighteen hectare vineyard situated in the very best part of Pomerol next to, as the name would suggest, Lafleur and Pétrus. It belongs to the négociant house of JP Moueix having been acquired by Jean-Pierre Moueix in 1950, his first vineyard acquisition having started the merchant business in Libourne in 1937. Generous, complex wines with plenty of black fruits and hints of violet.

About En Primeur

Lying Abroad/En Primeur/In Bond Wines

Wines offered ‘Lying Abroad’ or ‘En Primeur’ provide a good way to secure some of the most sought after wines at opening prices. In addition we ensure it is the cheapest way to buy favourite mid-priced wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône, so please ask us for our offers or check our website for latest reports. Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address. Your Lying Abroad purchases are covered under The Bunch Code of Practice which can be sent on request or viewed here.
