Château Lespault-Martillac Rouge, Pessac-Léognan 2025 En Primeur (Case of 6)

£87.00

ALC 13%

This wine is still to be bottled and as such the advertised ABV may be subject to change on its eventual arrival and inspection into the U.K.

Lespault has done really well in 2025. There's a cool, pure blue fruit nose that continues in the mouth, integrated tannins bringing shape with quite a silky finish. You get lovely sweet blueberry fruit as an aftertaste, long and lush but quite tempered and gentle. Good, harmonious, drinking claret.

Château Lespault Martillac

This is a small estate in Martillac owned by the Bolleau family. In 2008 they signed a 25 year lease with neighbouring property Domaine de Chevalier to take on the management of the estate and raise the standard of the wines.

There are eight hectares of vines in one block, seven producing red wines and one producing white. Organic methods are used and great care and attention is lavished on each stage of the growing and wine making process. The results are stunning with soft, pure and accessible reds, complex, fruity yet mineral whites.

About En Primeur

Lying Abroad/En Primeur/In Bond Wines

Wines offered ‘Lying Abroad’ or ‘En Primeur’ provide a good way to secure some of the most sought after wines at opening prices. In addition we ensure it is the cheapest way to buy favourite mid-priced wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône, so please ask us for our offers or check our website for latest reports. Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address. Your Lying Abroad purchases are covered under The Bunch Code of Practice which can be sent on request or viewed here.
