Château Rauzan-Ségla, 2e cru classé Margaux 2025 En Primeur (Case of 6)

£291.00

ALC 13.5%

This wine is still to be bottled and as such the advertised ABV may be subject to change on its eventual arrival and inspection into the U.K.

Very expressive and floral, cassis and blackcurrant attack. Richness too that extends in the mouth. This is a seductive Rauzan with beautiful poise and texture - the fruit weight on the mid palate is exceptional. Juicy, long, a wonderful wine.

Château Rauzan Ségla

Since the turn of the 20th century the ownership of the Rauzan-Ségla estate, which lies in the commune of Margaux, has changed frequently. Hit by the severe frosts of 1956 the entire vineyard was replanted. Subsequently more replanting has taken place and the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon increased. It is now owned by Chanel who have completely renovated the magnificent estate and are producing wines of refinement and breeding which are some of the most sought after in Bordeaux.

About En Primeur

Lying Abroad/En Primeur/In Bond Wines

Wines offered ‘Lying Abroad’ or ‘En Primeur’ provide a good way to secure some of the most sought after wines at opening prices. In addition we ensure it is the cheapest way to buy favourite mid-priced wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône, so please ask us for our offers or check our website for latest reports. Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address. Your Lying Abroad purchases are covered under The Bunch Code of Practice which can be sent on request or viewed here.
