Bright red berries and masses of fresh summer fruits show the elegance and restraint of the Kirschenmann vineyard. The vines are protected from extreme heat thanks to ocean breezes and the cool Mokelumne River AVA that the vineyard lies in. 3-9 years.

A renowned producer of the finest Zinfandels in California, second generation Larry Turley heads up production alongside director of winemaking Tegan Passalacqua.

Turley vinifies from small parcels of wizened, dry-farmed vines to produce extremely concentrated Zinfandel that retains acidity due to picking earlier than others in the region. The team, including Larry’s daughters, have managed to persuade the owners of some of California’s oldest vineyards to hand over total control of viticulture to the Turley family so every growing decision is taken with quality in mind.
