Barbera

One of the widespread Italian varieties found north and south, but perhaps best in Piemonte. High acidity works well with typical Italian fare, you can easily pick up the sour-cherry notes, an easy softness and good concentration in the mouth – it’s a satisfying and versatile glass of wine when coming from a good maker. Has travelled to Australia, Argentina and the USA with good results.
