Surrounded by a moat, this very beautiful, almost fairytale-like château, overlooks sweeping parkland with not a vine in sight! Its 30 hectare vineyard produces wines that are soft and perfumed with a delicacy typical of Margaux. D'Issan tends to drink very well when fairly young, unlike many other Clarets, although it develops as most with bottle age.
