Coda di Volpe

Pale old gold in colour, quite soft with a hint of spice overlaying yellow plum fruit, this is an ancient, full-bodied white grape from the south of Italy. Its name means ‘foxtail’, and you might encounter it as Lacryma Christi from bars at the foot of Mount Vesuvius.
