CVNE, or Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, is one of the traditional Rioja bodegas. It was founded in 1879 and dominates the town of Haro. CVNE owns about 400 hectares of vineyards which supply most of their needs. They specialise in Reservas and Gran Reservas made in the traditional style with long ageing in American oak.
