François Lurton
François Lurton is from an old Bordeaux family and makes wines in many places in the world, especially in South America where he has vineyards and wineries in Argentina and Chile.
In France he owns vineyards and sources wines under long term contracts and often rents space in local co-operatives to make the wines which are then finished in a large bottling and storage facility at Vayres between Bordeaux and Libourne. In the south of France he owns vineyards in Fitou and Corbières together with a winery but also sources and makes a range of varietal wines which have excellent full flavours and concentration.
