Madeleine Angevine

A stalwart of the UK wine industry, and our favourite variety grown here, the true wine grape originated as a German seedling under the name Madeleine x Angevine 7672. It has a grapey, citrusy flavour a bit like a sharp Muscat, and gets thoroughly confused with a dull, bland table grape of the same name.
