Refosco

You’ll find this bright, dark cherry fruit variety in Northern Italy where it makes a lovely, spicy, juicy glass of wine. Very versatile, very drinkable particularly if you prefer your reds a bit cooler. Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is the best sub-variety and takes its name from its red stems.
